Pickcode is a Small Business

When we started working on Pickcode, I called it a "startup" since that's what most well known tech companies call themselves. Now, I think of us as a small business.

Startup investors will tell you the best measure of success is how fast a company grows its customer base. By those metrics, we wouldn’t impress any investors, which is part of why we’ve never taken outside funding.

For us, we measure success by teacher satisfaction with the platform. When we fix a bug for a teacher or add a new feature they requested, I personally email them.

I can do this because we don't outsource development or customer service. We don't send mass emails or cold call. And we definitely don't "move fast and break things".

Our approach isn't flashy or exciting. But based on what I hear from our customers, they appreciate our platform and the progress we've made. They can count on Pickcode to run their classrooms.

If you’re a CS educator looking for a reliable, teacher-focused coding platform, I’d love to hear how we can support your classroom.
